Never Flirt with a Femme Fatale

True Tales of Lust, Money and Murder on the Island of Manhattan

by Cici McNair, P.I.

Sante and Kenny Kimes arrive in New York in the summer of 1998 after a cross-country crime spree. When a wealthy 82 year old widow disappears from her mansion on the Upper East Side, the mother and son are arrested for her murder. The case was a landmark in New York State: no body, no weapon, no witness, no confession, no DNA. Sante Kimes tells her story for the first time to Cici McNair, the private detective she trusted.

Melanie Cain came to NYC to become a model. She soon became the lover of famous race horse trainer Buddy Jacobson, a manipulative and obsessive man.  After five years together, she leaves Buddy for another man who is soon found dead. Melanie shares her never-before-told story to Cici McNair.

The femme fatale is in every culture, all throughout history. Eve giving Adam the apple. Delilah cutting Samson's hair. Cleopatra. Mata Hari. Sante Kimes. Melanie Cain. These fascinating women lead men into danger.

Real life drama told with a master storyteller's touch. If you like

Dominick Dunne then you will love this book.
